It's no accident... ...that the Plastic Surgeon® of Bovey Tracey involved spice when coming up with a consumer campaign for their repair service. This impactful idea gave household repair specialists, the Plastic Surgeon®, just the creative hook they needed to get their name where they wanted it - in customers’ heads. They already provide an invaluable service to the new homes market, where developers are able to call on the Plastic Surgeon® to make good anything from a broken ceramic bathroom suite to damaged worktops - all done with plastic fillers and hardeners. | ![]() |

North Devon has a twin in Kenya Spice has designed and built a website to be delivered to UNESCO as part of their ongoing data gathering for the world's biosphere areas. The first two areas (of approximately 320 internationally recognised biosphere areas around the world), are North Devon and Kenya. The site has two specific functions. The first is for biosphere areas of the world to be able to upload their data to create a comprehensive record of these unique regions. The second is to allow participating schools access, using their own log-in and password. The search facility allows pupils to discover and compare as part of their school curriculum. North Devon's biosphere area has its 'core' in Braunton Burrows, the 'buffer zone' comprises the towns of Braunton, Barnstaple, Bideford etc, and the 'transition' area stretches beyond as far as Exmoor and Dartmoor. | ![]() |

A beautiful setting deserves beautiful literature Yapham Cottages asked spice to give their literature and brochure a new look, starting with the logo. The primrose, always associated with Devon's hedgerows, became the symbol for these high quality 'hidden' Devon breaks. Jane Young of Yapham Cottages said "I really enjoy working with spice. Your standards are so high and your time management excellent. Brilliant!! Thank you SO much". | ![]() |

Barclays open their account with spice A pat on the back is deserved by everyone involved at Barclays and spice alike - quite a feat of organisation! The hundreds of Barclays business managers of the south-west and Wales and western areas, now have their own personalised corporate contact sheets, together with a wallet size card and photograph, to keep them in touch with their customers. The smart, but templated design format allows for new staff to be added to the data base and included in the next print run. | ![]() |

The Calvert Trust climbs higher The Calvert Trust now has a brand new website which becomes the starting point for its 3 centres at Exmoor, Kielder and the Lake District. The charitable foundation organises and runs outdoor adventure holidays for the disabled. Previously, each centre had its own website which had been developed separately and linked together. This led to a disjointed end result with a lot of duplication and different styles. The new corporate styling with improved navigation and the problems of accessibility addressed, has given the Calvert Trust the authority it needs to continue its growth. www.calvert-trust.org.uk | ![]() |
